The 392 HEMI® is back, in the Challenger SRT8® 392. Mated to a five-speed automatic and includes Fuel Saver Technology for greater efficiency while at cruising speeds. Its aluminum cylinder heads are milled with hemispherical combustion chambers that benefit airflow and, subsequently, horsepower and torque. The new 392 ci SRT HEMI also features variable valve timing for improved torque. With Fuel Saver Technology, the computer-controlled variables add up to improved mileage, even with all of that power available when needed.
The 5.7L HEMI® with standard five-speed automatic transmission has an awe-inspiring 400 lb-ft of maximum torque on tap, with an overdose of low-speed torque, so you can thoroughly enjoy working the AutoStick® shifter. Powerful and efficient, the 5.7L HEMI® utilizes Fuel Saver Technology including variable valve timing for staggering performance. The 5.7L HEMI® V8 also includes both variable cam timing, bringing more power and optimal performance and dual ignition (two spark plugs per cylinder) to increase peak power and torque.
The new Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine delivers maximum durability with minimum scheduled maintenance. Engineers completely retooled and delivered a 12-percent bump in torque over the previous V6.
