In the interior there is a new instrument panel with clearly legible white scales and (depending on the level of equipment), for example, new Climatic and Climatronic air conditioning control dials with an electronic link and integrated switches for heating the front seats.
The greater ease of control is quite certainly helped by new headlights, wing mirrors with a larger area and 5th generation parking sensors. The new headlights are significantly larger and more dominant. They now reach to the sides of the body and give the elegant front of the Octavia model an even more impressive and dynamic appearance. Xenon lights with turning modules can be fitted on request.
The fresh and elegant line of the body's design on the new Octavia is supplemented by attractive 15" Deimos light alloy wheels. You can also choose 15" cast Pyxis wheels and there are 16" and 17" wheels in the range of extra equipment.

A design change has made the exterior of the Fabia more dynamic and robust. The horizontal line of the bumper with its new grill, the modified visor and bonnet and the newly shaped headlamps and fog lights fitted with a Day Light function have optically expanded the front section of the vehicle.
The palette of colours is enlivened with new Lava blue and Platin Grey. The offer of wheels now includes a duo of 16" Elba and Comet light alloy wheels and the new Comoros cover for 14" or the Satellite for 15" steel wheels. And for the first time the Fabia can now be ordered with a roof railing (in black or a black/silver combination).

The Jumbo-Box between the front seats with an adjustable armrest can be cooled (if the car has air conditioning). The installed audio socket will enable you to make a journey more pleasant by listening to your favourite music. The back wall of the Jumbo Box may contain controls for heating the rear seats (optional accessory).
Operated through a 5" colour touch display, AM/FM radio with an RDS and TP system, a dual antenna for FM reception, a CD, CD-MP3, CD-WMA player for music and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting), display for information from the GSM II, Climatronic air conditioning, parking systems and time on the display, satellite navigation on a Maxi DOT display. These and many other functions are offered by the Amundsen navigation system.

This is shown by the fact that the Octavia can be equipped, for example, with an ESP electronic stabilisation system, including the cooperating systems ABS, EBV, MSR, ASR, EDS, HBA, DSR and ESBS! In addition the basic equipment includes airbags for the driver and front passenger, side front and head airbags or deactivation of the front passenger airbag.
The new Octavia is also equiped with a fourth-generation immobiliser, and the tag with the VIN and EAN codes. Safety lights on the panelling of the front doors, a system that automatically closes off the fuel supply in case of an accident and an automatic activation of the warning lights during sudden braking are the other important safety elements.
